Fistful of Dirt - Megan Baumeister

A gravel bike race and a dang good party.

Overview

The Fistful of Dirt follows scenic gravel courses through the community of Cody, Wyoming. The event was created to attract destination cyclists to the spectacular community and bring local riders together.

With the races being only 50 miles away from Yellowstone’s east gate, it was necessary to design the Fistful identity with impactful colors, bold typography, and purposeful imagery.

When cyclists make the decision to sign up for a destination race, it’s important they have an immediate draw to the race itself and the area.

What resulted well… got a little Western.
